Recently, Kingland Partners has been officially approved to join the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (TC260, hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) as a member institution.

Going forward, Kingland Partners will actively participate in the WG8 Data Security Standards Working Group and the WG9 Artificial Intelligence Security Standards Working Group, engaging throughout the full process of research, drafting, and formulation of national-level standards in key areas such as data security, personal information protection, and AI governance.

The National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (TC260) is China’s authoritative national-level standardization body in the fields of cybersecurity, data compliance, and AI governance. It operates under the leadership of the Standardization Administration of China and receives professional guidance from the Cyberspace Administration of China. The Committee is responsible for the centralized management, development, revision, and implementation of national standards in the cybersecurity domain.

TC260 has led the formulation of a series of foundational and critical national standards, including the Information Security Technology – Personal Information Security Specification (GB/T 35273-2020) and the AI Security Governance Framework. These standards serve as essential benchmarks for regulating industry development, defining compliance boundaries, and operationalizing regulatory requirements.
