Holland & Knight Mexico Office Visits Kingland Partners to Explore New Opportunities in Cross-Border Services

On March 5, partners Humberto Morales and Oscar Quiroz from the Mexico office of Holland & Knight, together with Barbara Diaz Espinosa, Head of Asia Market Development at a Mexican domestic financial group, visited the Beijing office of Kingland Partners for an in-depth exchange. The core team of Kingland Partners warmly received the delegation. The two sides engaged in practical discussions on key topics including China–Mexico cross-border legal services, investment compliance, and financial cooperation, exploring new avenues for collaboration.

During the exchange, lawyers Lin Huawei and Hu Yang of Kingland Partners introduced the ecosystem of China’s legal services market, the firm’s cross-border business layout, and its strengths in international legal services. They also shared practical experience in areas such as compliance and risk management for Chinese enterprises “going global” and cross-border dispute resolution. Partners Humberto Morales and Oscar Quiroz provided a detailed overview of Mexico’s investment environment, legal and regulatory framework, and common legal challenges faced by Chinese companies investing in Mexico. From a financial perspective, Barbara Diaz Espinosa analyzed the cooperation potential and market demand for China–Mexico cross-border investment and financing. The meeting not only deepened mutual understanding of each other’s markets, but also laid a solid foundation for Kingland Partners to further expand its legal service network in Latin America.

As a professional firm with a strong focus on international legal services, Kingland Partners has consistently upheld a philosophy of openness and mutual benefit while continuously strengthening its global cooperation network. Building on the outcomes of this exchange, the firm will further integrate global legal and financial resources to support cross-border cooperation between Chinese and Mexican enterprises and contribute to the steady advancement of high-level opening-up.
