On January 29, 2026, Kingland Partners’ Annual Gala, themed “Powering Success Together · Together With Achievement,” was grandly held at the China World Hotel in Beijing.
Opening Address by the Founding Partners at the Annual Meeting
In their opening remarks, the three founding partners—Mr. Lin Huawei, Mr. Li Zhibin, and Mr. Mao Xueliang—joined all colleagues in reflecting on the firm’s development throughout 2025. In a year marked by rapid transformation of the legal industry, with opportunities and challenges coexisting, Kingland Partners remained firmly committed to professionalism as its foundation and innovation as its driving force. The firm not only achieved breakthrough progress across multiple core practice areas and earned recognition on several authoritative legal rankings, but also continued to move in step with the times by actively exploring the integration of cutting-edge technologies, including AI, with legal practice—ensuring that technology truly serves professional judgment and enhances efficiency. The three partners particularly emphasized that Kingland Partners’ growth is rooted in the solid professional expertise, keen industry insight, and the wisdom and resilience demonstrated by all colleagues in their daily work. This collective strength constitutes the firm’s most reliable support in navigating change and moving toward the future.
The gala that followed showcased the diverse talents of the team through a variety of performances. Both on and off the stage, focused applause and sincere interaction filled the room, creating a vibrant audiovisual experience together. Performers among the lawyers conveyed warmth and sincerity through heartfelt singing; the Chinese–German bilingual poetry recital “This Is the Life I Have Chosen” (Das Leben, das ich selbst gewählt) highlighted the charm of language and reflection, resonant and powerful; and the pipa performance “Late Night Drizzle Asking Begonia” brought a sense of tranquility and cultural depth with its elegant traditional melody. These sincere and thoughtful contributions added a warm and unforgettable touch to the evening.
Following the performances, the event moved into the awards and interactive sessions. The award ceremony celebrated the well-deserved recognition and achievements of outstanding colleagues, while the lucky draw segments repeatedly energized the audience, with laughter and cheers driving the atmosphere to new heights.
