In order to deeply implement the concept of starting legal education from the youth, Kingland Partners actively responded to the national call of "Fostering Virtue and Cultivating Talent." Upholding the mission of "Giving Back to Society with Expertise," the firm was invited by the 27th Batch of the Youth Teaching Support and Assistance Team from Central and State Organs. On June 13, 2025, Kingland Partners visited Xibaipo Middle School and Tongjiakou Bayi Hope Primary School in Xibaipo Township, Pingxiang County, Hebei Province, to conduct a legal education seminar.

 

During the seminar, Attorney Lin Jingu introduced the basic concepts and significance of the Civil Code to the students, with a focus on the six major principles of the Civil Code, including the principles of fairness, voluntariness, integrity, and environmental protection. Through vivid case studies, he guided the students in establishing a sense of legal awareness, encouraging them to become honest, trustworthy, and environmentally conscious youths in the new era.

 

Attorney Cheng Lei centered her talk on preventing juvenile delinquency, using a short film to explain the sentencing standards and relevant legal knowledge for juvenile crimes. She also introduced the social value of the legal profession and encouraged students to obey the law and strive for personal growth.

 

After the seminar, Kingland Partners donated sports and cultural materials to the students and took a group photo with them.

 

This legal education seminar, combining professional legal knowledge with engaging case studies, not only helped the students at Xibaipo better understand the core values of the Civil Code and the legal principles regarding the protection of minors, but also sowed the seeds of a rule-of-law spirit in their hearts.
